Friends of Bardwell School

We have a small but very supportive committee of parents, staff and friends of the school. Our main focus is to raise funds to support the school’s priorities, these range from significant capital projects to smaller projects that add value to the pupils’ education and experiences of school.

​In recent years The Friends have raised £15,000 towards the Primary Playground and £31,000 for a new sensory room. We also commit to raising over £4000 per year to cover the staff costs for educational outings, including residential trips. We also provide specialist equipment and facilities for the school. Every year we fund and organise the pupils’ summer and Christmas parties.

The school runs frequent parent workshops or drop-in sessions including coffee mornings where parents can meet informally for a chat.

We have a new chairperson, Alex Ford, whose son, James attend The Lodge at Bardwell School. We are in the process of setting dates for meetings in 2018/19 and will post these here shortly.

We would welcome other members, whether  parents, staff or others who wish to support the work of the school.
